Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Fantastic ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use abocco.com (the "Service"), how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Use. The Service is meant for adults in the United States.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password. We store only a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Profile: your profile picture, display color and the settings you choose in the Service.
- Your content: files and folders you upload, posts, comments, reactions, messages and their attachments, collections and favorites, friend requests and connections, and game scores.
Files are stored as you upload them, including any information hidden inside them, such as the location where a photo was taken. Remove anything you do not want stored or shared before you upload.
Information collected automatically
- Session details: your IP address, your browser and device type (user agent) and when you were last active, kept with your sign-in session.
- Activity in the Service: which files you recently opened or played and which you have marked as favorites, so the Service can show them back to you.
- Logs: records our servers keep to run and secure the Service, such as errors, requests, and security events like an administrator accessing an account.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the Service needs to work:
- a session cookie that keeps you signed in while you use the Service;
- a security cookie that protects your forms from cross-site request forgery; and
- a "remember me" cookie, only if you choose that option when you sign in.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not allow third-party trackers on the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: store your content and show it to you and to the people you choose to share it with.
- To keep the Service and your account secure, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
- To send you emails about your account, such as confirming your email address or resetting your password.
- To fix problems, keep backups and improve the Service.
- To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, show you ads, or use it to build profiles about you.
3. Who can see your information
- Other users. Your name and profile picture are visible to other signed-in users, for example when they look for friends. Content you share is visible to the people you share it with; posts are visible to everyone who can see the feed; messages are visible to everyone in the conversation.
- Our administrators. Administrators can access accounts and content, including by signing in as a user, when needed to run, secure and support the Service and to enforce the Terms. Each time an administrator signs in as a user, it is logged.
-
Service providers that run parts of the Service for us and may only use your information to do so:
- Akamai (Linode), which hosts our servers;
- Amazon Web Services, which stores and delivers files, holds our backups and sends our account emails; and
- Bunny Fonts (bunny.net), which delivers the Service's typeface and receives your IP address when your browser loads it.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when the law requires it (for example, in response to a subpoena or court order), to report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, or when we believe in good faith it is needed to protect someone's safety or rights.
- A new operator. If the Service is transferred to someone else, your information may go with it, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
4. How long we keep it
- We keep your information for as long as your account is active.
- Deleting your account from your profile deactivates it and signs you out. Your data, including your files, is kept so the account can be restored, until you ask us to erase it permanently or we remove it.
- Content you delete, and data we erase at your request, may remain in our backups for a limited time before those backups are replaced.
- Session details expire shortly after you sign out or stop using the Service. Logs are kept only as long as they are useful for running and securing the Service.
- We keep information longer when the law requires it, or when it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms.
5. Your choices and rights
- You can view and change your profile details, download your files, delete your content and delete your account in the Service.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to erase it permanently, by emailing legal@abocco.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days.
- If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we will tell you the outcome of the appeal.
Some states, including California and Connecticut, give their residents specific privacy rights. We honor these requests for everyone, whatever state you live in, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across other websites, we do not let third parties track you on ours, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals therefore do not change anything about how the Service handles your information.
7. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee your information will never be accessed without permission. If you find a security problem, please tell us at legal@abocco.com.
8. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete the account and information of anyone we learn is under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the Service before they take effect.
